Finding the right
primary care physician can
be challenging. Calling office to office to find an
opening and filling out paperwork is time-consuming.
Kootenai Clinic is hoping to remedy that with its new
appointment center.
“We’re here to do all the legwork,” appointment cen-
ter manager Linda Maxwell said. “We call and schedule
the initial appointment, gather all of the patient’s
information, and mail out packets with paperwork and
information about the clinic they’ll be going to.”

“This will allow new patients one point of contact

make it even better.”
The packets mailed to new patients include:

Paperwork to be filled out and brought to the
appointment
◗
A brochure about the clinic and a map to its location

“We won’t turn calls away,” Linda said. “It doesn’t
matter if it’s your first appointment or your 20th ap-
pointment, we’ll be there to help and answer questions.”
