The Kootenai Health Foundation welcomes volunteers for special events and fundraisers or as part of Kootenai Health’s Volunteer Services. There are many ways to make an impact and support your community hospital. 04 Your Support Matters Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Festival of Trees a huge success! The funds raised each year expand access to health care for our community and directly support patient care. With your help, we raised over $385,000 to help purchase a second surgical robot. Having an additional robot will improve access to care and support our goal of keeping patients close to home. Over 500 volunteers donated their time and talents to create the elaborate tree displays. More than 10,000 guests attended throughout the weekend’s events. Laura Little Productions produced the inaugural variety show at this year’s Holiday Luncheon event. Over $7.5 million has been raised over the event’s 31 year history. In years past, beneficiaries have been the emergency department and operating rooms, women’s and children’s services, cardiac care and neonatal intensive care. Myth
