Keeping your heart healthy is a team effort. You do your part to eat right, exercise, and avoid smoking. At Kootenai Health
we’re doing our part as well. Since 2005, when donations to the Kootenai Health Foundation helped fund the opening of
the Heart Center, Kootenai Health has been expanding those services. Today Kootenai offers a full spectrum of care
from open-heart surgery to interventional catheterizations and treatments, to heart rhythm services
for patients who need pacemakers, defibrillators and ablations.
