Paul Anderson HonoredWith Visionary Leadership Award The Kootenai Health and Kootenai Health Foundation boards honored Paul H. Anderson with the Visionary Leadership Award for his service to the Foundation and community. “Paul has played an important role at Kootenai Health and in our community,” Jon Ness, Kootenai Health CEO, said. “It is a pleasure to recognize his contributions to improving health care in northern Idaho by honoring him with the Visionary Leadership Award.” The Visionary Leadership Award honors those whose insightful leadership and innovative thinking significantly improve Kootenai Paul Anderson is the third person to receive the Visionary Leadership Award from Kootenai Health and the Kootenai Health Foundation. Recipients of the award helped to lay the foundation for today’s advancements, and their dedication continues to encourage and inspire the community. Paul is the third recipient of this award. Ron McIntire received the award in 2017, and John Smith Richards received the inaugural award in 2015. A longtime community leader, Paul has been an outstanding leader in northern Idaho. Before serving on the Kootenai Hospital District Board of Trustees, he served six years on the Kootenai Health Foundation board of directors. Through his exemplary commitment to Kootenai Health and his extensive community involvement, he has advocated for improved and expanded health care for the citizens of northern Idaho.
