This is the seventh year in a row Kootenai Health has been recognized for its superior clinical outcomes in cardiac surgery by Healthgrades. “Kootenai Health has a long history of providing our patients with excellent cardiac care,” said Karen Cabell, D.O., Kootenai Health chief physician executive. “We are honored to be recognized for our team’s commitment to quality and are thankful to all our staff members for providing the best experience possible for our patients.” Kootenai Health provides a full spectrum of care for cardiology patients, both within the hospital at Kootenai Health’s Heart Center and for patients at Kootenai Heart Clinics. From diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and prevention, patients receiving heart services can count on personalized, quality cardiac care. Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Awards recognize hospitals with superior performance in specific specialty lines and focus areas.
